Weeeell. I only play the electric guitar. And it does have the generally accepted "cool" bonus. So I'll say that.
I want a sitar one day. Just for the hell of it.

How can you get cooler then that?![]()
Well, if I, Belisarius, the Black Prince, and you all agree on something, I really don't think there can be any further discussion.

Acoustic guitar, I think.... I mean look at what Gilmour did with one, in something like Comfortably Numb (the 9 minute PULSE version)
primus pater cunobelin erat; sum in patronicium imb39, domi wilpuri; Saint-Germain, MasterAdnin, Pnutmaster, Scorch, Blau&Gruen,
Ferrets54, Honeohvovohaestse, et Pallida Mors in patronicum meum sunt
Fair point, but look what he did with the electric for every other Floyd release he recorded.Originally Posted by the Grim Squeaker

I play Electric guitar, but i would actually say that the "coolest" instrument is the Bass guitar.
Also, chicks seem to dig it more. something to do with the extra length maybe..![]()

I have to say Banjo or Saxophone. Nothing impress the ladies like some open-shirt saxophone playing. Not that I know how to play. It's just a cool instrument, but if you're gonna rock: harmonica rules!
Muhaha
The saxaphone and bass guitar. My insturments of doom.
I enjoyed listening to my friend Hemi play his mandolin in his Jam band.
Bass clarinet, Bassoon, Contrabass (stringbass), baritone/bass saxophone, Bass trombone. Anyone see a pattern here?![]()
Oh, and of course, my precious.
The most versatile (wood)wind.
Electric Guitar.
It depends on how you want to judge cool, i used to play guitar in a band, and thought i was very cool, but the vocalist got far more attention from the ladies than the rest of us put together, so i guess the vioce is the coolest, if you want to judge it that way, and lets face it what other way is there......git.

Electric Guitar is amazing.
The beauty of the Second Amendment is that it will not be used until they try and take it away.Staff Officer of Corporal_Hicks in the Legion of Rahl

Why the Armonica of course
Now what we need is an electric Armonica.
I have nothing against the womens movement. Especially when Im walking behind it.
Viol or Viola da gamba
A viol is a bowed string instrument. Similar to the cello, the viol, or viola da gamba, is played between the legs (hence the name 'viola da gamba', literally 'leg-viol'). While it is not a direct ancestor of the violin, there is some kinship between the two instrument families.
It sounds like a cello with some of the lower viola capabilities.
You can listen to a small piece here
