Coolest Musical Instrument

What does everybody think is the coolest musical instrument to play? I think it's the bass The bass guitar that is.

Nah...Acoustic guitar is way better...

Weeeell. I only play the electric guitar. And it does have the generally accepted "cool" bonus. So I'll say that.

Bass guitar is best. By far.

Fair point, but look what he did with the electric for every other Floyd release he recorded.
Comfortably numb solo acoustic vs comfortably numb solo electric....... Electric has to win IMO.


I play Electric guitar, but i would actually say that the "coolest" instrument is the Bass guitar.
Also, chicks seem to dig it more. something to do with the extra length maybe..

I have to say Banjo or Saxophone. Nothing impress the ladies like some open-shirt saxophone playing. Not that I know how to play. It's just a cool instrument, but if you're gonna rock: harmonica rules!

I enjoyed listening to my friend Hemi play his mandolin in his Jam band.

Bass clarinet, Bassoon, Contrabass (stringbass), baritone/bass saxophone, Bass trombone. Anyone see a pattern here?

Electric Guitar.

It depends on how you want to judge cool, i used to play guitar in a band, and thought i was very cool,but the vocalist got far more attention from the ladies than the rest of us put together, so i guess the vioce is the coolest, if you want to judge it that way, and lets face it what other way is there. .....git.

Electric Guitar is amazing.

Tenor Saxophone: I play it so it has to be cool.

Viol or Viola da gamba
A viol is a bowed string instrument. Similar to the cello, the viol, or viola da gamba, is played between the legs (hence the name 'viola da gamba', literally 'leg-viol'). While it is not a direct ancestor of the violin, there is some kinship between the two instrument families.
It sounds like a cello with some of the lower viola capabilities.
