Fortnight ago by chance I picked up both Kingdoms and Barbarian Invasion expansion packs in a charity shop for peanuts. I haven't really fired up RTW much to play BI other than as the Saxons. Really Impressed with what is included with Kingdoms. Loving the new units such as the Roman flame throwers. Just been concentrating on the Romans in the Crusades and Novagrod in the Teutonic campaign. Not that that I've tried any mods so far as there is too little time in real life to play at the moment. Now I'm all prepared for when The Long Road 3.0 comes out

Yes it is even more now because when it came out the price was higher, it will enable four new campaigns more units and different factions but also mainly just for the mods you can play with Kingdoms.

Kingdoms adds a lot of new features and units like Greek fire as well.

Kingdoms is fantastic and a no brainer expansion. Tons of different warfare styles and oodles of content.

Kingdoms with the amount of mods and added features has a HUGE amount of re playability.

Of course it is worth it!

There are mods doing that, such as Kingdoms Grand Campaign mod, that it also adds all the new factions to the campaign, plus a bigger map and more traits.
