Next faction preview

Hello guys;

We're currently preparing two faction previews, and want your opinions so we can choose which one to finish first. These factions are the Lydian and Babylonian empires, both very important nations in the RoP timescheme.

Lydian empire imo. But only because i would like to see who the greeks will be fighting in their initial invasion of persia

Actually, the Lydians were battering the Greeks into utter submission until the Persians destroyed their might...

Both realms, Babylon and Lydia, were extremly important for our time. Both are unique, although the Lydian units will be more familiar to most of you as they had many Hoplites in their army.

Babylon's army is really unique, being the heir of the Assyrian military doctrine.

I vote Lydia - in my opinion they were the greatest military force untill the arrival of Alexander the great. (or more his father Phillip's reforms....)

Good heavy infantry, proper missile support, superb cavalry, well funded, well trained and well practiced.

Yeah, I thought so. I just wanted to make sure no one has in mind the classical images about Lydians being soft, decadend and weak.
In the first run, it seems to be Babylon, but let's see. The poll will stay open for a while.
