How is that sexist? Women try to break up fights all the time.

And I'm unashamed to say that I think it's hilarious when a girl tries to break up a fist fight between two guys. I've seen a number of girls get punched or knocked out when they tried to intervene into fights. The guys don't hit them on purpose, but you can't expect everyone to stop fighting the moment you throw yourself into the fray.

It's both hilarious yet very much a wtf situation. Wtf are they thinking? Just let the people fight it out goddammit!

I was at an intersection and all the roads were typical 1 lane each way. And their was this car waiting there with the window open as he was on the give way side and was waiting for this truck to turn down. The truck has an open window aswell and just as the truck turned down the road it drove next to the car but was on the opposite side of the road.
And they both just stopped there in the middle of the road chatting out their windows! For about a minute. Just having a yarn in the middle of the road, not moving!

Talking about blocking the road. Main arterial city road. 3km leading from suburbs down to city. Gridlock all the way + queues to get onto the street.
I was waiting for about 30 seconds to turn onto this road and i turned and looked and saw why traffic wasnt moving. I thought this and broke off the road and onto the footpath! Nothing wrong with cycling on the footpath when road traffic isnt moving.
Got back on the road and just hooned down the side without any obstacles, passing cars like a boss. Average car speed must have been around 5-10kmph and most of the time not moving at all.
You should have seen the people waiting at the bus stop. Bet they were pissed. The bus would have been at least 10minutes late

Its days like that which make you wonder why people still prefer to drive. Peak morning hours especialy.

I've done something similar once, drove my SUV up over the grass on to an exit ramp to escape the jam I was in...

Man I hate s like that. What really kills me is in the last 10 years we expanded from like 2-3 lanes to 4-5 lanes because traffic was getting very congested during rush hour.

Well... now that we have 4 lanes ers just pick whatever lane they feel like and sit at about 10 mpg under the limit...

So basically if you are moving a long you'll eventually get stuck weaving through the turtle brigade....

But worst of all is when you have all 4 lanes slowed almost to a crawl for about a mile and then you finally see why and it turns out to be a high way helper with his lights flashing on the shoulder of the freaking freeway!

Stupid people... or to be precise, stupid people who prefer to remain stupid and ignorant.

I'm "friends" with this girl. She's great looking and everything but she insists on being a moron and it frustrates me.
Of course, I'm not expecting her to go out and get a degree or anything but as it usually does with me, history or politics come up in conversation.

I made the statement that it annoys me how so many people in this generation care so little for history and her reply was "It's boring. It's just stuff that some man did ages ago. It makes no difference to me" and when I tried to explain that there's much more to history than a "man" doing "stuff", she says "I fell asleep in history in school" like it was something to be proud of.

All that aside, I get that it's personal opinion on what's interesting and everything but then it comes to her stance on politics...

She doesn't vote for starters and when I asked why, she said "It's boring. Nothing makes a difference anyway" and I told her that it's her responsibility to vote because people fought and died for our right to vote and as a woman, she should appreciate that she has the right to even think about politics.
Then a bit later, I mentioned something I was angry about and her reply was "Don't get angry. What has it got to do with you? It's not like anything we do would make a difference" and I just said "Surely if everyone thought like that, we'd never get anywhere." and she was all "I don't care".

I'm sorry for ranting but can can people like this go about their daily lives in complete ignorance of everything around them? History has shaped the world we live in and politics shapes our future... I think that's a pretty ing important thing.
