Re: Countdown to Beta T Minus 9 Days
awesome preview, i love your attention to detail, and especially the mycenaeans, but just curious, i didnt think that dendra( heavy bronze armor) was used by infantry, as it was much to heavy and had little articulation, so it was only in use with charioteers?

Re: Countdown to Beta T Minus 9 Days
Theres alot of speculation that a lighter version with the bottom 2 shell halves of the armour removed and the huge neck piece removed, was worn by infantry.

Re: Countdown to Beta T Minus 9 Days
even the heavier version of the full armor could be used by footmen... I kind of vaguely remember a depiction of a fully armored man fighting on foot from some dagger or fresco. It would be pretty much like medieval foot knights in full armor (though it's true that medieval field plate armor would be more flexible that the mycenean band plate)
EDIT: two images of the Phthia preview dont work (for me at least)... there's some banner instead saying the link is wrong/inexistent file
