Increasing crashes with Firefox

I don't know what's the deal, but lately I'm getting a lot of crashes with Firefox. For example, today, every 6-7th click somewhere on any website resulted in a crash. It's been going on for like 2 weeks now. Anyone else has similar?
Just forced me to use Opera again, with sometimes using IE, because Opera seems to be missing a bunch of plugins for many websites (or at least I don't know how to get more plugins).

What could be causing my firefox crashes? The latest update installed? plugins? extentions? I have a hard time beleiving that I might have to abandon my favorite browser because of this

back up your favorites/bookmarks and uninstall firefox and reinstall as fresh install

thanx.. Looks like it did the trick. I wonder what made it corrupted.
