What is your favrioute type of faction? Mines western.

Western factions aren't similar like the Eastern factions.

I concur. I like being able to build my empire from the ground up, taking locations I see favorable and getting the satisfaction of knowing that my dominion over all started out in such humble beginnings! This is mainly the reason why I never played more than two turns as a roman faction in BI (unless it was as the rebels, which were quite fun).

I vote for small. I prefer smaller factions.

I agree, I love starting as the Armenians or Macedonians and quickly rampaging across the map with my cavalry.

Personally, I love Eatern factions especially Armenia.
Parthia, Seleucids, and Pontus are ok.

I hate Egypt

But I do enjoy some non-barb western factions like Greece, Carthage, and the Brutti.

Egypt (Khemet) is my favorite faction, I appreciate the Greek's phalanx too, but I love my camel and elephants

You need more options there, there is not enough. There is more than Eastern and Western, the options should be

Greek, Romans, Barbarian, Carthaginian, Eastern. (and maybe Egyp/Ptolemies)

Me, I like the Romans of course, but them aside my favorites are Armenia, Numidia, and Thrace.

Romans, carthage, gaul and greeks are my fav's so western for me

Well the Greeks are both Western and Eastern, so i will not vote.

Roman or Greek, i like dood heavy infantry that can hold a battle line easily. I hate the barbs, because their infnatry cant hold the line the same as Romans or greeks.

I prefer the Western. Only because that option includes Gaul. Best faction in the game IMO. Forester Warbands pwn all comers.

Western for me. I love playing as the Romans, Macedonians, and Carthaginians. The only Eastern based faction I'll play sometimes is the Seleucids because of their East & West combination.
