    Default Elite Saka Cataphract

Or santa's raindeer cavalry as I call them These guys are the best cavalry in the game right ? Slightly better defence than the rest of the cataphracts. do they have a spesific AOR close to parthian territory or something? ive never seen much of them, just as mercs I belive ownership is"thrace, slave, scythia" thrace is the free guys ? so only scythia can recruit them? Gotta admit ive never played as scythia mainly because fighting those sarmatians isnt something to look foreward to But if Santa's raindeer cavalry is recruitable I think I just might have to start a Scythian campaign they also have archers wich can fight on foot iirc, thats just overkill right there!

Im currently playing as Dacia and man how I love those roxolani Nobles they are like the Revolver cavalry of the era, absolutely destroys everything! Im yet to unleash these monsters on the romans though, its the macedonians who are the current victims of the hoovs of the roxolani. I cant belive it I feel like im trolling my own topic. Ill shut up now But please share your experiences with Santa's little helpers

recruit "elite saka cataphract" 0 requires factions { scythia, } and hidden_resource area15 and hidden_resource r1 from the export_descr buildning file seems they are recruitable, but it seems that "scythia" is not scythians but infact sarmatians anybody ever recruited them? and if so as who and where

oh but Saka were never present in the lands of Neo-Scythians only in eastern Sarmatia, Fergana and later descended in Iran, Pakistan, India... so that is historically correct even if more correct would be Saka as a separate faction... or recruitable by Parthia because they migrated together and were allies against the Seleucids at times... hmmm actually I don't know how much they rode with the Sarmatians or if they ever did in fact... so Parthia should have them!
