go to the rome total war folder, than if you play campaign with rome you go to: play_rome, than data than you go into export_descr_unit. than you press crtl+f (find) than you type in elephant. than you surch for elephants like this one:

than you have to change this:

to this
stat_health 2,3

now the elephants died fast, if they die to fast/slow you change it on you own way. it is like this
stat_health 8<the hitpoints,12<the health
if you make that more than they die slower, if you make it lesser they die quicker

I have no problems with the seleucid cataphract elephants playing as carthage. Sure, they are strong, but once surrounded they usually flee or run amok.

Ha I have little to no appreciation of them...just...respect. Thankfully their pathing is terrible, because their little rampaging charges are absurd. If they're not cataphracts, bogging them down will eventually get the job done. 2 Units of towered forest ele's take out most of my legion if I neglect flaming projectiles. All part of the fun though, spicy!
