There are tons of characters and cities, you're going to need to be more specific.

All i can say, if you can, you should always read a book in the language it was written. Like english for the song of ice and fire. Too much gets lost in translations.

I`m able to claim that i have read hundreds of books. Not all in english, ofc, but many. And i can say that the song of ice and fire is my favorite book series; I have read the first 4 around 8 times now and the 5th one around 3 times. And they are still enjoyable! Martins writing is wonderful.

    *Whoops

OK, well the main families are Stark of Winterfell, Tully of Riverrun, Arryn of the Eyrie, Lanisters of Casterly rock, Greyjoy of Iron Islands, Barratheon of the Crownlands, Barratheon of Dragonstone, Tyrell of Highgarden, and Martell of Dorne.

The Baratheon family depend on when in the book.

You could check the end of the book where there is a list
"We all know whatmy brother would do. Robert would gallop up to the gates of Winterfell alone, break them with his warhammer, and ride through the rubble to slay Roose Bolton with his left hand and the Bastard with his right. I am not Robert. But we will march, and we will free Winterfell … or die in the attempt."

Much of what is lost in the Spanish Translation are the names of the places,They Lose the Epic Touch
For example The Eyrie is El Nido de Águilas (Nest of Eagles),Dragonstone is Rocadragón (Dragon Rock) and the worst, Oldtown is Antigua (Ancient)
But apart from that, It is a great translation
