    Someone already mentioned this, but there are allot of unit pictures missing while in the troop recruitment menu huge issue with some of the stats being blank. . .

    Some of the troops have inaccurate descriptions. . .

    Some minor formatting issues with the unit stats. . .

    Awesome game though, love it so far!

    The trees and campaign map are especially beautiful thanks for putting the effort in this mod

    I'm sure some other people will get screen captures to clarify what i wrote in more depth (at work right now or else i would)

    P.S. actually the only thing that is really annoying is one of the barbarian factions faction symbol will not show up in the diplomacy screen or power charts.

    this has to be an alpha channel or missing icon file. i'll check it tomorrow if anyone on the team hasn't already.

    I checked on the getae faction, its labeled symbol128_dacia for the big image, symbol48_dacia and symbol24_dacia for the tiny one. The smaller two have 4 versions for non-selected, defeated, highlighted and selected. All alpha layers appear correct. Stratpage_02 also contains the image but all those also check out with correct layers spanning every faction folder I have in the UI folder. It also appears on Sharedpage_01 but for my Roman file its ok. That particular tga file is back in the main folders, not the mod folder for ExRM. The icon should be visible.

    Ajb, can you post a print screen where the missing icon should live in game? Maybe it lives somewhere else and I can't remember where...

    I just noticed this, options menu states version is 1.6. Should read 4.0. I believe this is contained within a text file and generated through font control settings. Its not contained in the menu images.

    I can't make it work . I extracted the zip-file in the old EXRM- folder and then I overwrote the existing files with the new ones. Now I can choose an option but as soon as I choose a faction the game just goes to the desktop. PLEASE HELP ME OUT, I'M DYING HERE!

    Oh, thats an easy one, just move the old exrm folder to some other place or label it _old and then extract the new folder in the same spot as the old one so same directory just one folder named exrm the other exrm_old. should work fine and it's an awesome game

    Where exactly are you putting this folder?

    It needs to be here: "C:\Games\The Creative Assembly\Rome - Total War\RomeTW-BI.exe" -nm -show_err -mod:ExRM -movie_cam

    If 3.5.3 was working for you before but the 4.0 beta isn't then you're doing something wrong somewhere. Also, make sure that the name of the folder is ExRM and nothing else.


    Oh... and run the campaign_map_reset file. You'll find that inside the ExRM folder.

    FINALLY WORKING! Great game! however, the building and troops are a bit expensive and slow 2 build, som if anyone can tell me how to upload files I'll try to mod the 2 files fixing these 2 issues within 14 hours, that is, if the original modders don't mind...Quinn, is that Ok with you and your crew?

    Well not really, we've done that deliberately. There is no "issue" with them. Feel free to put up your own modifications but we cannot endorse your changes.

    Hi, I have some weird problem. On battemap, game freezes (crashes) when I want to drag out grouped units. Anybody experiencing the same thing? Is this a known problem?

    Further observation: are velites really supposed to cost ~23000 to recruit?

    What resolution are you running, and what's your desktop resolution?

    I've never seen this happen on my machine. White blank pics, yes, but not this.

    Those are the revolt CTD units. They're mentioned in the docs. I swear I'm just going to rename the darn things.

    Are German skirmishers meant to be that much? Makes them cost like 23000 on my recruitment screen (I can afford everything else for reference), or did I up my installation?

    I presume they are revolt CTD units also. Carthage has a copy of a unit for 23000 as well, but you can recruit the normal version of the unit.

    Yeah, there are several revolt CTD units and they should all cost in the region of 23'000. Don't recruit these.

    more detail on the "drag out grouped unit- crash" thingy. It happens only in deployment phase, after pressing "start battle" I can drag grouped units around with no problem. However, when you besiege a city until the end, and the defenders attack you, I get the crash during the entire battle. (Notice that there is no deployment phase in this kind of battle...)
    Never saw anything like that before, and I played multiple mods. Can anybody replicate this issue? I made a clean reinstall, tried different video settings etc, it's still there.

    oh and my screen resolution is at 1600x900

    i'll get back to u guys on the other things. . .

    I should add its crashed randomly a few times too. . .

    I have a weird "mouse" issue. Just started the campaign and the Town Names, General Names etc etc, don't stay "below" their respective towns, units etc. As you scroll around they kinda move along with it.

    I'm running the exact same settings as I did for the previous version, screenshot attached. The mouse doesn't detect the graphical town, but detects the object directly above the "name".

    Resolution for strategy map is 1280x800x32. Also weird warping of the textures at maximum zoom.

    I am running RTW on a Mac, but have had no problems with RTR Platinum and the last ExRM.

    However in the midst of writing this post I wanted to try and replicate this bug. But... this problem fixed itself after I restarted the program. I changed to a 1028 resolution using the Launcher program (comes with the Mac version) and it was fine, switched in game from the loaded save to 1280 and all issues gone. So I guess not a bug now because I cannot replicate it on that save game. But I'm still posting it because others may have a similar issue...?
