    Default The "more units for the fiefdoms" submod (UPDATED with officers and Boromir's banner!) Links back!


    I "created" 2 more units for Gondor. Actually I basically retextured one of Taro_M units and another is a Rusichi unit. I also made a small modification to KK's officers (changed the flags). So all credits to them and also credits to Merlkir for the inspiration. Here they are:

    Im enjoying creating the new banners since it is just so simple so I end up creating Boromir's banner. It looked pretty cool. It was based on the movies, almost an exactly copy if not for the shape of the flag (since I dont know how to create models, I couldnt change it, but it looks cool anyway).

    Credits The Rusichi team for the Lossarnach unit. I only retextured their amazing axemen. Check their mod here.
    Taro_M
    for his great model and texture, since I basically retextured it. Check his work here. Merlkir for his great concept art. Check some of his concepts here and here. KK for the officers. I just made an ultra small modification to them. Pls, rep them!

    Download Download link in the attachments! I only released as a resource so basically you will need to copy/paste the folder and add the unit entries manually. Not very hard. Instructions in the readme!

    Anybody is free to use this the way they want, just credit the creators (Rusichi and Taro_M released their mods as free resources so just credit them and no need to ask for permission) KK for the officers and Merlkir for the concept (he allowed me to use his concept as an idea) and credit me for the textures.
    readme
    Open the unit_models.db file with notepad or wordpad and add these lines to your unit_models.db file (remember to increase serialization by one for each new entry and as always, remember to make back ups)

    Won't be possible, unless he removes some other units. All 500 unit slots are used already

    @Paradamed: Very nice unit Hope you make more. Maybe make 3 or 4 AoR's for each regions which are the only things recruitable in those regions? Just an idea

    Im a Gondor addict, hehe. By the way I removed the links of the full version with the new flags for officers cause Im waiting for KK to answer me since the officers are his. I can put a new link with only the Lossarnach and Lebennin units (no officers) if you guys want. While waiting for KK's answer I created Boromi's banner based on the movies:

    It is very easy to add them manually, specially the officers. I put the instructions in the readme. If you want to add the officers only, you only need to edit 2 files, very simple. If you want to add the Lossarnach axemen only one file to edit. Ok guys, links back! KK allowed me to release the modified officers. All credits to him for the officers! Have fun!
