Shogun 2 sengoku jedi campaign battle loading screen ctd

Hey guys I'm having a slight issue with TWS2. I haven't had any problems playing since the patch, however I've just been playing FOTS (which runs fine and battles load with no problem), not the original campaign. When I tried to make a new Senguku jedi campaign and did the first battle, it loads about a 1/4 of it and crashes. I have verified the game cache and everything checked out fine, so if anyone has any ideas of how to fix this little annoying issue I'd appreciate it.

First remove all mods. Then, verify cache and try again.

ok i removed all mods i was running radious and darth mod. I reinstalled the game and downloaded it again. I am still having the same issue. and yes i restarted my computer

and now the game wont even start

Did you delete both Shogun2 folders? The one in %appdata% still has mod related files.

Can you further elaborate on your problem please? What do you mean the game wont start? Do you get crash on splash screen or do you click on shogun.exe and nothing happens? Also, even after you reinstall the game, your old user script might still be there. Check to make sure your user.script isnt directing the game to any none existing mod (since you should have it all removed from your data folder by now).

The darth mod was most likely the culprit for your problem. Im 95% sure. Many user experience something similar to your game crash when running darth mod.

Nevertheless, you should be careful when installing mods because with the current patch, many mods here at TWC are incompatible.
