Quick Fix: Your Expertise is Appreciated
Hello - and thanks for taking the time to read this:
I have made some minor tweaks to unit availability # and some other minor things using PFM and DBeditor
However, I cant seem to extract and then successfully view unit_land_stats tables.
What I'm trying to do is create a standalone "mod" that edits the vanilla British Riflemen.
The two variables I am trying to edit are Ammo and Reload. Ideally, I could edit the ammo to say 100 rounds, and the Reload to 300. I want the men to have absurd ammunition and a 2-3 second reload.
I realize this is cheesy, but it's the one thing I haven't had are "modern" infantry to play around with.
Yet, I can't seem to open the unit_land_stats table after extraction. I have tried editing the data.pack and the patch4 variant, but I get a non responsive PFM when it tries to save the almost 3 gig file. With the patch 4, I can't get the table to display so I can edit it.
Are you able to help me please? I realize what I want is a one minute quick fix to the person who knows their way around the editors - but I am at a loss. Wasted multiple hours now trying to get it to work.
Thanks for your time and your help.
