    Default Siege Tower Pathfinding problem

Just recently started a new campaign as the WRE on BI. Things are going ok...except for whenever I lay siege to cities and my units push towers up to the walls, only about 6 or 7 members of a unit can climb the tower, the rest just run around in a circle at the bottom and eventually get hit by an arrow, javelin, or something of that sort. I remember having this same issue with vanilla RTW sometimes when it was patched to 1.3, but after 1.5 I did not see it anymore. Did 1.6 BI go backwards in this regard? I don't remember having this problem on past campaigns in BI but it doesnt seem to go away now.

Erm...actually now that I've done some test battles with other factions, no. It only happens with WRE. I'm confused.

I've had that bug a few times, but never consistently. Best thing to do is simply pack a few more towers, and smash the gate open with artillery. Don't rely just on towers, I use them more for cleaning out the walls than dropping off soldiers.

    Probably just a random bug.

It's a fairly well-known bug. It occurs with large stone walls only, I believe. I can't tell you why this happens, but it's just another example of why Rome is not as awesome as everyone says it is.

Seconded. However, I am slightly sick of Rome fanboys claiming that this is the only game that we should play and that every other title released is just a money-grabbing venture run by the Capitalists and the Freemasons.

BTW that's not you. You're intelligent.
