I got a Galaxy S2 last November so I won't be buying the S3 this time around but I have to say if the S3 only builds on the strengths of the S2 then it will be a best seller because the S2 is the best phone I've ever had.

Previously to the S2 I had a T-mobile G1 which was a generation 1 Google Android phone which I had for a good 3 years and when I switched over the the Samsung Galaxy I was amazed at how far battery technology had developed over the past few years. For example I can go 4 to 4 1/2 days without having to recharge it and when I do recharge the phone it only takes an hour and half where as before I had to leave for a 5 hours and the battery even in peak performance lasted 2 days.

Yeah, it was just announced on BBC World News channel that team of 25 people have left Seoul for Britain where new Samsung Galaxy s3 will be revealed, apparently the team has 15 security guard which would be guarding the new product 24/7. Amazing, can't wait to see the new phone since I have samsung Galaxy s2! And yes, you can go for 2-3 days without charging it.

One question though, how can you send long sms without it being converted into mms, the phone does it on it's own and its so annoying?? Thanks for the answer!

I heard the price will be around 600 and more euro for the 16GB version. Prolly i'll get it next year if the prices go down. Actually i'm the owner of a Samsung Galaxy S Plus. I like it

I was too until I starting using my phone. Multi media lot of calling and texting and browsing eat it up pretty quick.

Dont bother, those kind of phones have been on the wait out for awhile now. Your pure Droid line are the only decent ones left.

I know it sucks, I'm not to fond of digital keyboards. They work well enough, but I can type much faster with my Moment.

I really wish they would quit comparing choices of phones to fashion styles and trends. It's a friggin' phone, it says nothing about my personality.

I have a Galaxy SGH-i997 and the software sucks, all kinds of stupid glitches, like a key getting pressed repeatedly while I'm on a call or the camera settings never saving, the screen saver going up while I'm in the middle of using the phone constantly (that really pisses me off) the camera crashing or locking up the entire phone forcing me to shutdown, what else?

If all of that is happening constantly, then obviously something is wrong with that particular issue of the phone, go get another one, ask them to exchange it for a brand new one! Or, just try to fix it yourself, take it to one of those phone fixing places, they will make it work. Even my friends iPhone which is the ultimate nuisance of the smartphone got fixed!

Some of the things I think are just part of the older software, one day the camera locked and I couldn't get it unlocked so I restored the phone and now it seems worse.

I'll just wait for the galaxy3, and it better be an improvement, because I think the galaxy has the best camera and video right?

While I'm interested in seeing what this phone will be like, I am quite sure I'll be going with the Galaxy Nexus as my next phone.

oh and the fact that I can't even drag and drop my photos from my SD card because they are some format that windows doesn't recognize.
