Problem on running RTR:VII FoE

Hi guys
When I try to run the game from the RTR:VII Launcher or just by double clicking the icon just nothing happens.I have installed version 1.4 correctly.I could play the game previously,but left it cause I'm busy these months.I still can play TIC and RTR:VII.
Any ideas?

I haven't got FOE installed myself at the moment, but my first try would be to check the target line of your shortcut. Right click the shortcut icon, go to Properties and look at the target line. It should say: ''(Your System)\The Creative Assembly\Rome - Total War\RomeTW-BI.exe" -show_err -mod:FOE''. When it doesn't, try to add that to see if it will launch.

I still cannot run the game..Is it a good idea to reinstall FoE?

I'd advice to do that. Just uninstall using the FOE uninstaller or delete the FOE folder from your RTW directory. Reinstalling should allow you to create a working shortcut on your desktop. Let us hear if it works

Ehm..Installation done,I can play FOE.But during the installation I set to be installed a RTR:VII Launcher (the one with the FOE icon),despite the fact that I had the one from the latest RTR:VII.When i click the launcher,there is only TIC and FOE to select,not RTR:VII.Except that,there is not a FOE icon on screen.Lol it seems weird..

It seems like the FOE and VII versions of the launcher are non-compatible

We might look into this, until it's fixed I'd advise you to manually alter the target line to launch the mods.

I don't think there's any reason to play FoE now that VII is out. VII is both larger and better in most ways than FoE. It's also still being supported with patches.
