Default How do you turn off/change campaign script

I have been playing IB 7 for some time know on completely different computers. I always run into CTDs during certain turns even after rebooting. I've come to the conclusion that its because of the campaign script. Can anyone please tell me how I should modify the campaign script? Do I need to change it to a new one or just turn it off. Which ever way is best how do I it?

Also I see that there are 2 exe files in my IB folder, one that's for installing "Full Scripts" and the other "No Scripts". If I have to run one of these which directory should I install it in? Thanks

No script is no active from the start, you'll have to activate them by clicking the pop-up advisor. But we advice you not to do this. So, in other words, no scripts are active.

The directory the special IBFD exe SCRIPTS.txt installs to is your "ibfd" folder. So when it asks for the pathway that is the final part. It will simply place a file with different instructions named SCRIPTS.txt. From what I recall I think this means the scripts automatically load every game without the 'show_me' button. The bulk of the script instructions are in a file called IBFD.txt in ibfd/data/scripts/show_me

Correction....After playing the game after years absence. The SCRIPTS.txt in the ibfd folder appears to be just a note on what scripts are in play. As per usaul the switches load a different version of the IBFD.txt in the show_me folder with your selection. The target directory is the folder 'rome - total war' that contains the ibfd mod folder. And indeed the script is activated as usual by highlighting the adviser.

Proculus: Divine Caesar, PLEASE! What have I done? Why am I here?
    Caligula: Treason!
Proculus: Treason? I have always been loyal to you!
Caligula: [laughs insanely] That IS your treason! You're an honest man, Proculus, which means a bad Roman! Therefore, you are a traitor! Logical, hmm? Ha, ha, ha!
