Eastern Roman Empire question ")
Hey all,
Im playing an early era campaign as the Byzantine, im up to turrn 203, after a long war, I have reclaimed Italy and in particular Rome.
In my mad little head, the whole point of this campaign was to re-establish the Roman Empire from around 100AD, so im going to make Rome my capitol, will this effect my recruitment of any special units from Constantinople, or will it just work like normal?

The recruitment system in all of your cities will remain the same. The only difference of changing the capital will be that cities closer to the capital will produce more money (they will lose less due to corruption) and will have higher public order
I would recommend not changing your capital to Rome before Rome has become a central place in your Empire, but of course that's up to you

You can change to Rome if you want to really immerse yourself.

Meh, I would rather push more to east than west (maybe take Italy and Africa back, but otherwise I'd focus on Balkans, Rus and Middle-east) which would also feel more realistic, as no empire would go to claim territories they had lost 700-1000 years ago.
But everyone on their own.
