Great job! When the patch is gonna be released?

Hard to say as poor Soarin got the "biggy jobette" of sorting the damage textures for the new cannons, he's done the stone walls, as in the screenshoots, now he's doing the wooden walls which is the bigger job surprisingly, and there are two of them.
The rest is pretty much done, am testing now.
Just a quick update, Soarin finished the walls, really tough job but he succeeded, congrats. The patch is on final test with the Dev's as we speak, IF they approve it will be released 18th this month.
Lots of changes, 10 new units, and the Saiga-Shu (Mercenary Arquebusiers) make an appearance.
One of the subtle differences in this patch is the way you can create/recruit and train armies.
Firstly you can just hire units and save on dojo costs. In almost all areas samurai are available, they are expensive, but better experienced, and you can recruit the sons of your samurai at your captital cheaply. There are lots of ronin too, they are cheap, but cost more to upkeep. That way you can concentrate on income buildings like farms and traders.
And you can always build a Geisha House, which will attract ronin, and allow you to hire them, including teppo units every 4 yrs, but again they cost a lot in upkeep, so its a trade off, low and quick building costs but high upkeep on units.
You can of coarse build dojo's, but each level costs. Some daimyo's find it better just to build ashigaru dojo's and build weaponsmiths and armouries instead (good for date clan as they can build armouries cheap and in smaller settlements).
Other daimyo's will just specialise in archers and build all the archery dojo's and bow makers, that way their archers will deadly, even ashigaru units! They dont cost as much as other dojo's and they can be built quicker.
And dont forget the foreign mercs and six pounder cannons which can only be bought from the merchants at various locations.
One other thing to consider is raiding, mines and farms are now also available to plunder. If you know you can take an settlement, but not keep it, plunder it and retreat with the goodies (works well with a cannon).

Or if the settlement is large enough just build ninja dojo's instead of samurai, the 2nr tier gives you access to battlefield ninja's, very heavily armoured unit, takes 10 turns, same as samurai dojo, but are better units, and have lower upkeep.
The game ends if your capital is taken?
This happens although i have other cities...
Er the game only ends if its your last settlement Or the last family member is killed, IE no male heirs older than 16yrs.
Nice, the koreeans are looking awesome !Thanks for this mod !![]()
