Blood Pack - Blood disappears or doesnt show and limbs wont sever

So I bought blood pack (really glad ca finally did something like that, nothing like a bit of gore to make battles interesting) but it wont work properly. At first blood didnt show at all on bodies. Only on the ground for a few moments. After a few restarts and some fiddling with Darth Mod (im pretty sure thats not the reason for the problem though since this also happens when I uninstall it) blood started showing on the head, right hand and weapons and theres more spray but limbs wont sever and the blood on ground disappears very quickly in addition to there only being blood on the head and right hand. Decapitations happen but limbs wont come off. Blood very briefly appears on the entire body but disappears shortly. Noticed that when I kept pausing the game. Sometimes theres also hardly noticeable blood on some bits of the armour. Can see that if I look real close.

In addition to that corpses sometimes flicker in sieges but thats rare. Havent gotten the arrow bug strangely enough.

Any ideas?

Any mods that alters the landbattle.xml can affect the blood dlc. If in doubt, remove all of your mods on you data folder and try again. It should work.

Right now I'm only using darthmod and I already tried without it. Also no one seems to have incompatibilities. Searched in quite a few places. Could be though that im just very unlucky and something was left behind when uninstalling. If I dont find any other solution I'll reinstall the whole game.

Well, the "blood only appear on head and right arm" is normal. This is a problem CA has not fixed; Everyone has that. As for limbs not severing, do you mean arms and head are not detaching from bodies? Decapitation only occurs once in a long time, and it is more frequent when your general is slashing with his katana. Also, arms usually don't severe as often or at all. Only time I see arms coming off is when I use No Dachi samurai, and Sword Attendant from ROTS.


Also, try trying up your particle effects in the options menu. See if that helps.

I played a custom battle with only no dachis and turns out limbs do come off. Didnt notice that. Tried getting them to come off with artillery in FoTS but apparently that doesnt work. Was hoping flying body parts with cannons and naval support. Decaps happen pretty often with any kind of sword cavalry. Particle effects are full. Guess everything is fixed that can be fixed at this point then. Blood could stay on the ground for much longer though.
