    Default BAttle of Marathon

Just watched pay-TV and there was a program called Decisive battles and it showed the battle of Marathon .. and it seemed to use the RTW game system to recreate the battle, I swear ... but there were some skins I haven't seen before.

Was it this mod that created that battle for the TV show?

I cannot wait to see if Decisive Batlles shows Thermopylae.

    Thanks

Man, I love Decisive Battles. The Thermoplylae episode is amazing (yes, there is one.) I also like Cannae. I don't know what they use to do it, mod-wise. I think they did it custom for each battle. You can buy all of them on the History Channel website for like a hundred dollars.

I think DB was the american version of Time commanders.. in whihc case it does use the RTW engine it Time commanders was on tv in ngland in later 2003 early 04 i think basicaly it proved really popular as everyone watched it as a kind of extended RTW trailer they tried making a second series after RTW realease as far as i know only 1 or two episodes got broadcast before they relised people no longer cared as much lol.

Im guessing that some of the DB skins are still in RTW files if you look bcause there are several time commanders ones..

So no we didnt create it for them

Or you could download all the episodes by torrent, but off course that would be unethical and would also violate copyrights...

Off course, you could do it only if you got the VHS copies at home, and you would just wanna watch them on your PC.

    Bye.

DB aired 2 years ago. They probably won't show it again. I own all the episodes adn just watched two today. And DB's designers probably made thier own unique skins since they are not the ones CA created.(Spartans etc).
And DB is not the American versian of Time Commanders. Those are two completely different shows. DB recreates ancient battles using the TW engine while Time Commanders takes people off the streets and puts them in command of ancient armies while scientists laugh at their pathetic attempts.

They are on the History International Channel on Saturdays. 6:00 PM and 10:00 PM (Mountain time). I own all of them too but I still like to watch them on TV.
