Default CTD and now game will not load

OK I finally got the game to load with RS mod. Now after playing a few turns and fighting the Carthaginians I have a script error happening when I try to load the game. I tried to bribe Bomikar when he left a settlement and got this error immediately after a CTD and subsequently trying to load the game to start over.

Comes up in a box with the following

Script Error in play_rome/data/export_descr_unit.txt, at line 377, column 18.

    Unrecognized mount type 'light horse'.

Someone with more specific knowledge will hopefully chime in...

But it's in all the background reading somewhere on this forum that I did before starting my first RSII campaign - but bribing is broken. I don't use it at all now.

The only time I've ever seen that error was when 'descr_mount.txt' was messed up or the wrong version. This is the file in the main 'data' folder of RTW that defines all of the animals, and if it's hosed, the game will throw up that error. Since you actually got into RTW without the error, I would suggest something happened to corrupt your install. Try re-installing RS2.0 and then 2.5 right over the top of everything and dee if it works then.

Trying the reinstall of it and if that doesn't work then I will wipe the whole thing off the drive and start over from scratch.

That's what I understand when I say "reinstalling".

It's just the easiest way to keep a clean copy of fresh installed and patched RTW on your harddisk, then i something wents wrong, just delete the not working install, and make a copy of the clean one to use.
