What are my odds of winning this battle?

Mother of epic sieges. I have them outnumbered in Cav, but good lord endless wave of humans coming to my walls!!!





Any suggestions on how to handle this? I see their men are wayyyy more exp than mine.

If you can break the first stack with all those generals, the following ones might not be too bad as it looks like they don't have generals (barring the small Hattori force). Could try leaving a couple of your bow samurai out of the castle at the start, might tempt the AI into a general-rush. Also guess it'll depend on your reinforcements and how they enter the battlefield. You could try and get a straight up fight with one of those reinforcing stacks and beat it, then use the survivors as meat-shields for the rest.

His castles gates are open too if you all haven't noticed but a save file would be nice because this does look like a lot of fun.

Pretty big.Well, depends somewhat on the castle really, but use the yari ashigaru and naginata to try to stop them at the second highest tier, to create kill zones for your ranged units. Then if possible try to flank with a couple of the katana units.

dang you got a fight alrighty. i would try what mj said and lure the generals stack into a charge so you can at least try to kill some of them. it wont be so hard getting them to attack cuz ur gates are busted but at the same time make it harder to defend i would let them take the first level to can make a killzone and hold back the second army till a good number of there forces are in or at the castle then try to surround them and cut of other troops from joining the fray. I would also considering using the cav of the second army to hold back there troops so at least your gunners and bow men can get in the castle since ur outnumbered by a good 2-3 thousand try to force them to fight in the castle where their numbers will be a liability as opposed to an advantage.

How big is the castle? Cav isnt gonna do you a whole lot, though.

Out numbering the enemy in cav during a siege is a waste of time tbh. Would be surprised if he came out of the castle during the siege so you will have to dismount, in which case all your great cav is now undermanned yari foot samurai :/

Also 11k vs ~7k army size and he has on average higher exp AND he has the castle. That will be pretty difficult to win. Go get mangonels.
