How to install with a different folder other than Steam or "The Creative Assembly"
I have purchased RTW Gold using the download from Gamestop. That gets installed using something called Impulse and it installs into a folder on my C:\Program Files (x86)\Sega\Rome Total War - Gold
The problem I am having is when I try to install this mod or any other mod they don't see the executable file and don't know where to get started from.
Any help is appreciated.
OS is Win7 Ultimate 64bit.

Just install 2.0 to a folder on your desktop, install 2.5 on top of that and then copy all the files into your RTW folder.
Oh I didn't read your post in full. Just open the launcher folder and open Roma Surrectum II exe.
