I am trying to make some of the units in the game faction specific, I am playing as SAGA and want a few unique units. Rather than create a whole unit I was going to change the permission so that only Saga built certain units. When I go into cdir unit qualities I see only BOSHIN, what is that..?? How can I make say the Black Bear Infantry saga only..?? many thanks in advance..

I don't have FOTS, but I do know what boshin is. boshin, in this case, is the prefix used in the FOTS files, just like gempei is for the ROTS ones and jap/japan or is used for the regular campaign. I'm not too experienced, so someone may be able to explain it better, but I tried.

What you need to change is units_to_exclusive_faction_permissions, it controls what factions can build what units, and this might help as well.
