    Default Crash at Splash

My game has started crashing after the splash screen. They came out of the blue. I turned the game off, went to play it later that day, nothing but crashes at the splash screen. I can run benchmarks, but I can't get the game to actually start so I can play it. Before you ask yes I've done multiple clean installs verified files turned off firewalls etc.

    When did it start?

Delete the Shogun2 folder in %appdata% and then verify the game cache?

It started Sunday night. I came back to play it after Game of Thrones ended and it wouldn't start. I've also deleted the entry in the appdata folder and done another verification. No dice.

    Anything else happen Sunday night?

Try it without your antivirus and firewall?
Try it after logging into Steam?

The samething happens to me. I have had this problem for two months; I haven't tried to play since release date before then. I have updated my BIOs, deleted my script, and ran some program steam asked me to run within the Shogun folder, reinstall, and verified. I have attached my DxDiag. My CPU doesn't meet the recommended, but it does meet the minimal requirements. My computer run Skyrim just fine. I don't understand why my computer stopped running Shogun 2.

    Ever have any mods installed?

    Ever install Chrome?

    1. Try tp update the motherboard drivers.
    2. Run Windows Udpate manually and install all software options.
    3. Update the High Definition Audio codes at www.realtek.com.tw as your are already three years old.
