Default modding potential? whats the point?

whats the potential features of this expansion that would benefit RTW modding. because thats the only reason i see to buy it , would be if any mods were to be made from exclusive features added or are no longer hardcoded because of it. but then again with MTW2 around the corner, can any decent mods be made in that short time to make people want to even try to mod this expansion? so in the end whats the point?

    What's the point in asking.

If you'd like to play a CA-made Alexander expansion to RomeTW then you should buy, if not ... then don't buy it.

    See if anyone understand.

For en example Night Figting could be enabled in 1.5..So no BI needed there.

But people will buy it, even though there is nothing new. So there is a point in modding, it will reacj out to all the people who bought and liked the Alexander time frame.

If it doesn't bring a patch or new features, theres no reason to make it the basis of mods. Even BI's features have already been mostly ported over to RTW 1.5 by modders. So the need to use BI has been also reduced.

I read the only interesting option is to have custop portraits and units for a specific type or character , wich is good if this feature could be exported in actual 1.5 mods , so to have Hannibal , Scipion , Caesar , Vercingetorix and many many other special characters....

Any chance of you reskinning the Indians for this expansion Prometheus????

I've been waiting ages to play a TW game that has an Indian faction and was dead excited when I heard about the Alexander expansion. However, now looking at the screenshots I'm disgusted!

I know ROP, Age of Darkness and Prometheus mod have Indian factions but are there any other ?? I know MTW2 is coming out soon but i hope the teams behind these projects dont give up and move onto modding MTW. Stick with it guys, it will be worth it!

If this expansion can be modded to include everything from BI, night battles, and such and have a larger map
the fact that you dont need a disk in to play might be a bonus.
