Asha, sitting high upon her horse, calls out to him.

"Greetings, Lord Stark. I am Lady Asha, I believe we met at the coronation."

"It is a delicate matter, considering our two families histories, but needs must. I wish to seek an agreement between our Houses. But first, may we go inside? It is cold, and I have had a hard ride."

As she says this, she shivers slightly, clasping her hands together in the cold.

Eddard shakes his head to clear it,

"Ahh, this is much better, thank you. Now then, I sense you are a busy man, so I will get straight to the point. As you know, the Iron Islands, ruled by my house, seek to make our independence from the Iron Throne permanent. We do not, however, have much support in this endeavour. This is the reason for my visit. I would like to seek acknowledgement and support for the Greyjoys. In return, I can offer complete safety from raids by the Iron Fleet."

I have been having thoughts of going against the throne myself, although I had thought to wait until I had the great fortress of Moat Cailin rebuilt to protect us and reinforce our borders.

Logan Greystark had departed with Eddard from the coronation, thusfar Logan is present in this meeting.

Asha frowns for a moment, then the true meaning of the words struck her.

"And what would prevent you from acquiring the Moat?"

Logan observes the chat, and decides to speak;

"I don't think it would be wise yet to do so. It is highly possible that the surrounding Houses would ally themselves with the King, only to weaken us.

Asha frowns for a moment, then the true meaning of the words struck her.

The lady thinks for a moment.

"I see. Well, if there is one thing you cannot rush, it is time, though I fear us Greyjoy have little of it. Rest assured that, no matter your response to my proposition, if we are able, we will assist in any activity against this false crown."

Eddard responds in a rather quick manner having just thought this through,

If your brother were to end this small, 'rebellion' some are said to hear it called, and wait a few years until the North was ready we could combine our powers and be unstoppable. With the Iron Fleet to stop invasions from sea, and Moat Cailin to stop invasions from land we could easily be a kingdom, together in our own right. Then when they have broken army after army against the unbreakable Moat Cailin, then we shall sweep down upon them and whipe away what little armies they have left!

"An interesting proposal - though perhaps a little hard to put in place. I fear I have already offended the King and his lackeys through my actions at the Coronation, and my people are highly stubborn. It would take much to convince them to postpone our independence."

Eddard thinks before replying,

A king is a man who wants power and recognition, both would be easy to regain if you went and asked forgiveness. As for your brother, tell him that I promise him that we shall be even greater and have even more might if he waits instead of charging forward, that will make him stop to think.

She thinks for more than a moment, before finally reaching a conclusion.

"You have given me much to think about, Lord Stark, and I cannot give an answer straight away. I will travel back to my people, and give you an answer in due time."

She begins to rise.

"So unless there is anything else?"
