Right. This was so inactive that I almost forgot about it.

IAR 37/38/39, a Romanian recon/light bomber that entered service shortly before WWII, and served in limited roles even afterwards.

    Your turn.

What will it take for you to start playing the game right?

Playing it with people who don't take the rep seriously.

Aye. I hope you're not throwing tantrum for the rep, because putting a M4A1 Sherman here kinda feels that way. It's not interesting.

I am agnostic. I don't care about the devil.

Anyway, I've cleared my backlog recently, so it took me a bit to find something new...

Oh come on. A week without even a guess? Are you all too lazy to do a little search if you can't figure it out right away?

First hint: it was intended to replace a famous, almost legendary plane. It failed, and the plane it was supposed to replace went on to serve in secondary roles for roughly 14 more years, more in other countries.

Anyway I suspect it's a FK 23 Bantam. Desgined by the Dutchman Koolhoven in English service. It flew in WW1.

I had to google that one. And no, it's not that.

Take a very good look at it. I admit that it's hard to see, but there is observer's cockpit visible on the image...

Indeed, specifically 2FR.2 Bulldog II. Sopwith's second attempt to replace Bristol F.2 Fighter went about same way as the first. Two prototypes were finished, Bulldog I with rotary engine and Bulldog II with radial one. Neither engine delivered power near the specification, which doomed the entire project.

TBH it's so nondescript that it could be many things.

My guess is Winchester...maybe model 67? It does look kinda small for full power rifle...
