Indeed, specifically 2FR.2 Bulldog II. Sopwith's second attempt to replace Bristol F.2 Fighter went about same way as the first. Two prototypes were finished, Bulldog I with rotary engine and Bulldog II with radial one. Neither engine delivered power near the specification, which doomed the entire project.
