Thankyou.
Imperial Russian Monitor Smerch (Tornado). Built in 1863-65 in England, armed with a ram and two 9-inch guns. Hulked and renamed in 1904. Scrapped in 1959.
The flags were very helpful.

Please please please tell me that's the first ever amphibious armoured vehicle.
I think it actually is.
It's an experimental Mark IX, please post the original picture, its one I'd like to add to the archive.
*It's also the first dedicated armoured personnel carrier

This thread is all about searching in the right places.![]()
Gene Hunt is a legend.
Fair enough, IMBD is useful, but how'd you get Ashes to Ashes?
I'm afraid that's on a need-to-know basis. I'm not going to share all of my tricks with you.
New picture.

You looked through every TV series with a Browning Hi-Power in it didn't you.
Either that or Gene Hunt is a global celebrity, or Ashes to Ashes aired in the Netherlands.
I'm onto you....
I've noticed this thread hasn't got an Lince follow up detective story...![]()
OO Is it the Ram Tower?
The Ram Gun Tower was an artillery tractor and not a SPG.
It's not the Ram Gun Tower.
EDIT: But you're close.![]()

RAM 3.7in AA
Correct, it's the Ram 3.7inch AA Gun. A Canadian self-propelled AA Gun on the hull of the Ram tank. Probably prototype-only. The site where I found it has pictures of a M10 lookalike based on the Ram tank. It's probably your Ram Gun Tower.
Nice site about the Ram tank: http://www.ramtank.ca/
Click on Ram variant to find more pictures of the Ram AA Gun.
Next.
I want a picture taken from a different angle.![]()
