He was indeed
since I'm nostalgic these days..
anyone who knows me well remembers that I'm a big fan of Black Sabbath (my first 2 avatars here were Black Sabbath related), and honestly I'm for Ozzy all the day long, but Ronnie was such a great artist that one cannot love him, one of the top 3 front-man ever. Look on how he rose is glance and smiled to the fan when he realized what was going on and how he gently took him to the security.. he was 63 when they shot this video, dude I'm 40 and I can't sing more than 1 minute before I start to cough like an old Fiat 132
I'm sure he is sitting at the entrance of the Purgatory right now, sending people either to Heaven or Hell

The Promise: The Making Of Darkness On The Edge Of Town
I just re-listening/watching that DVD from 2010, about the making of the Darkness album (released 1978), which at the time i got it in the starting years of 80's, changed my life to a degree, and made me a Bruce fan forever.
And i was not alone with this feeling ... it's a so damn great album.
The film tells so much about the very time, from where they came and what path they would go, what drove them, the sound they were aiming for, etc. ... extremely authentic, even the title in so many ways, Bruce had millions of dollars debt, a broken man.
... highly recommended for everybody who is interested in the (early) story (after the success with 'Born To Run', 1975) of the greatist songwriter and the greatist rock band of all time, and all the affiliates (friends, managers, producers, mixers, etc.). They crafted 70 songs from which 10 made it onto the album. A lot mere pop songs were among them, which Bruce didn't want to have on the album. Fe. one song 'Because The Night' was given to Patti Smith (whom i greatly admire as well, for me the female icon of American Wave Pop Rock), which became a hit for her. Some of the leftovers went into the famous 'The River' album, which i owned formerly and that album brought his music to my heart already, while that double album and 'Darkness' aside to 'Born To Run' companied me for many years, in which i first understood, what Bruce and his guys were doing ... they re-invented Rock'n'Roll in all its fancy, but added something formerly unknown to it, a greatness and a darkness of American origin ... it became a kind of re-newed folk, a rock and pop with deep singer-songwriter quality, for the eighties and all future.
It even comes out, 1978 was the year, where Patti Scialfa (Bruce's later wife) watched him the first time live in concert, lol.

All songs are favourites of mine ... some stick out a bit ... Adam Raised A Cain (one can say, with this song they invented the Folk Punk sound)
Adam Raised a Cain, live at the Roxy, 1978
... 2016, still in the same kind of vain

Rightwingers, like in the past the epitome of incompetence, except for evilness where they own the mastership.
Iirc., already 2013 i spoke of "Renaissance of Fascism", it was accurate.

Any chance for this exam? Very low, the established Anthropocentrism destroys the basis of existence.

I see a metal gourmet.
One of my iconic alltime favourites - Rob Hallford doesn't need to sing the song by himself anymore :
And as Motörhead Cover:

I'm watching them practice social distancing (no audience).
It seems like Surtr is invading Midgard with the third day of almost 40°C here. No sign of this heatwave going anywhere soon. I'm melting.
