Hello, guys.
I need your help with a mod i'm creating.

I am trying to design a cost system based on each individual in a unit, and then multiply the costs to get the unit's real value.

This is supposed to refer to the mid-late republican roman period (RTW's time scope), and what I want is relative, and not real values.

Here's what I came up with, based on guessing (the numbers are the relative cost):

commoner: 5
noble: 15

light horse: 15
medium horse: 18
heavy horse: 21
cataphract horse/generals horse: 24 (the horse, not the armour)

average: +2 per man, +4 per horse
superior: +5 per man, +7 per horse
excellent: +8 per man, +10 per horse

driled: +2 per man, +4 per horse
disciplined: +5 per man, +7 per horse

spear, light lance, sling, knife/club, javelin: +1 cost
self bow, heavy lance, short sword, mace/axe: +3 cost
composite bow, long sword, falx: +5 cost

I would like your help to balance these values, as well as to give me some figures on armour and shield costs.

Thanks in advance!
