Here an innumerable amount of men and horses are constantly training and patrolling to become the most effective cavalry force in the known world. Horses are put through their paces and taught to walk, trot, canter and gallop all at the signal of the rider. The men train with lance, sword, and maces from horseback and when dismounted also. When dismounted some Knights prefer to use a poleaxe and so train with them as well. When not training or sleeping or doing some other chore the men are patrolling around the camp and along the roads.
Inside the camp there are well laid rows of tents and in the middle there was a large tent flying the flag of David Clothier and a flag of England. It was in this tent that David pored over maps and messages and recruitment plans as well as specific training regiments that were tweaked now and again for maximum efficiency. The tent was large enough to have a large party gathered inside. Two guards were always stationed on either side of the entrance flap to deter any would be assailants.
At the moment David was away with one thousand men loaned to him from the King to hunt down the Black Hand assassin band, however, any messages sent to the camp for David will be forwarded with all haste.
