FOTS won't launch
Hello! I can't for the life of me get FOTS to launch. I click to launch it and nothing happens. 'Shogun2.exe' is in my processes list, seemingly not doing a thing. I've let it sit there for a while to see if it was just being slow, but nothing. I have been able to get a 'Shogun2 has stopped working' error by creating a fresh user account. Otherwise, on my normal UA, I have no errors, the process just sits there. I think this may just be my error reporting preferences, or something.
Anyways, I've read around the forums and tried a number of solutions:
Deleting all VC Redists, then installing the VC redists included in the /redist/ folder.
Deleting all .NET, then updating via windows update
Installing all updates offered by windows update, while I was at it^
Installing latest video card drivers
Installing latest Realtek HD audio drivers
Uninstalling Chrome
Installing latest version of flash
Steam-specific fixes (verify, blob)
Deleting TCA folder\prefences (This was left over from Shogun 2 [worked fine]. Since I installed FOTS, this folder and it's files have not been created.)
I've reinstalled at least a dozen times now, and I've yet to even see an intro screen, or that screen where people say they have a choice between DX9/11, etc. I get nothing but a bum process.
Hoping someone will have some new advice or notice something I haven't. Thanks ahead for any advice/assistance!
Here's my DXDiag:

Re: FOTS won't launch
Delete BOTH Shogun2 folders and reinstall. Something is amiss across your accounts.

Re: FOTS won't launch
Maybe I should've specified that I made sure both folders weren't there, every time I reinstalled. I just did it again, though. Checked all my user accounts appdata, deleted every registry entry referencing anything in my Shogun 2 folders, nothing left. Just finished reinstalling, and it still won't load. However, I somehow made the slightest bit of progress, it at least created the TCA folder in my appdata this time. Although, the folders are empty. And yes, I can see my hidden files/folders, they're still empty lol..
Also tried running as admin and various compatibility modes to no effect.
So, any ideas? I'm about out. The only thing I can think of is that there's still some sort of imcompatibility via drivers (The Realtek installer was in some sort of asian characters, after all.) or software, possibly a .NET or VC redist update that wasn't showing up via my Add/Remove Programs list? Should I delete my newer version of flash for the one included in /redist/, maybe? I'm half tempted to try a virtual machine or dual boot with a fresh install of widows just to see if that'd work or if this has been hopeless from the start lol
