I wonder if anyone is surprised?![]()
"You just have to accept people for what they are, and I learned the greatest gift of all. The saddest thing in life is wasted talent, and the choices that you make will shape your life forever".
I'm not. But then again I'm never surprised with anything regarding North Korea.
Things I trust more than American conservatives:
Drinks from Bill Cosby, Flint Michigan tap water, Plane rides from Al Qaeda, Anything on the menu at Chipotle, Medical procedures from Mengele
Clearly because American imperialists sabotaged the rocket
In all seriousness though, I'm not surprised.
They spent $850 million USD on that thing. I'd be asking for a refund. I read today that at today's prices, they could have bought 2.5 million tonnes of corn and 1.4 million tonnes of wheat for that amount of cash. But hey, who needs to feed a population when you've got a missile that lasts for less time than most teenagers the first time they have sex?
Young lady, I am an expert on humans. Now pick a mouth, open it and say "brglgrglgrrr"!
Korea both North and South suck at launching stuff into space. All their efforts have led to failure.
At least the Iranians were succesfull at launching their sattelite into space back in 2009.

I'm actually a bit dissapointed about this incident. I haven't heard any accusations from North Korea towards either SK or the US. Instead all we've got as far as I've heard was "It didn't go according to plan". What boring explanation. I thought they might have come up with something better.
I don't doubt that the state television is praising the young padawan's successful test. It's a great day for the Glorious People's Republic and for our Dear Leader.

If you have predicted what word I might have said then you shouldn't be suprised...
There should be some epic story about how the team in control of the rocket wrestled with fate to keep it under control, as if wrestling with destiny herself. Only to be undermined by a single wiring flaw due to American copper.

I wonder how many people were tortured and murdered because of this failure...

"Steps to be taken in case Russia should be forced out of war considered. Various movements [of ] troops to and from different fronts necessary to meeting possible contingencies discussed. Conference also weighed political, economic, and moral effect both upon Central and Allied powers under most unfavorable aspect from Allied point of view. General conclusions reached were necessity for adoption of purely defensive attitude on all secondary fronts and withdrawing surplus troops for duty on western front. By thus strengthening western front [those attending] believed Allies could hold until American forces arrive in numbers sufficient to gain ascendancy."

ROCKETBLOCKED
Good, the bloody north koreans are just trying to test their ballistic missile capabilities. They really need to get out of communism, their population is starving to death, and being taxed to death as well.
Imperialist lies.
The rocket did not crash into the ocean, it went into stealth mode.
I'm sure their citizens will be told there never was a rocket. It's all imperialist propaganda.
Actually guys North Korea state television, in this very rare event, has publicly admitted their rocket failed.
It's very dissapointing actually.
Seems just as likely to me that the US put the squeeze on NK and this rare admittance of failure is the preferable face-saving exercise to 'They made us stop our wocket twest wahhhhhhhhhh'. I mean, Japan was threateneing to shoot it down...
EDIT- damn it blew up. Serves me right for not keeping up with news updates.

Under the patronage of Nihil. So there.
It amazes me how much attention North Korea gets whenever it tests a nuke, launches a missile, or does something else that's stupid.
What amazes me even more is the rapidness by which that interest dissipates again.
We citizens of the advanced capitalist countries are indeed fickle beings. And the news outlets know that. Hence, sensationalism sells best. Don't educate the masses, just impress them with big stories. Don't tell them what they don't want to hear; tell them what they already believe.
I had to unload this, given that in the past 24 hours 3 threads on North Korea were started.
