Is LW actually King
Hi all
I've been outta it for a while now (changed jobs lol but thats another story).
So Im just wondering as I read snippets around the place. Has LW actually gone through the prerequisite for Kingship? For example:
- Have the mods as a whole confirmed his Kingship and thus the rights of "Kingly Powers" (powers begin access and benefits of Royal Lands, the 2000 Royal Army, The promotion money, The income etc)?
- Have the majority of the Lords in game given their oaths to the new King?
- Has LW's "King" character been officially coronated by the AB?
Just wondering if I've missed any of these, as traditionally these have been the requirements before any King powers are given?
Thanks in advance for the info.
Cheers

Re: Is LW actually King
From what I have seen:
- Not that I have seen
- No, the only one who has sworn loyalty is 1 or 2 people.
- No, sent a letter to Odo IC, but wasn't answered.
All he has done so far is just: watch Ivo die, put the crown on his head and proclaim himself William I. Then use his vassal to do some work in gaining support...sending letters to various nobles to meet with him...and sent a letter to the AB, which appears to have not been answered. LW is King just in name it seems.

The only ones who could maybe support a claim to kingship are the white cross, but no right now civil war and strife are imminent.

The White Cross can support someone's legit/legal claim to the throne, but cannot make a claim itself. Lothair has no legal ties to the Lyon Dynasty and thus would be seen as a commoner taking the throne, like William I, who has no royal connections either.

TBH, he didn't do any of the proper things, but he's a(n?) usurper - that's the point. He has claimed the throne and as he's not dead it can be assumed that he has some loyal nobles, and so I think he ought to get the Royal Army. However, this simply opens up new RP opportunities.
While I understand that it's not technically following the rules, it doesn't really matter, does it? If you tell LW that he can't be king and eliminate the intrigue we now have, you're shooting this game just as it's being reborn.
