    Default Belgian Music

The past few years, my tiny little country seems to be crapping out some pretty great music while the rest of the world keeps going Pitbull. Mostly Rock music, but with Netsky and the Subs we also have some technical shiz. Check out some of those songs if you have the time (which you obviously do, considering the fact that you're on TWC).

The van Jets (my favourite Belgian band) :

    Black Box revelation :

Be sure to check the clip of this one, I can't post it here cause it's adult material. Also this song's chorus is ing epic

Triggerfinger (normal band but they also do some pretty epic covers) :

I liked that 1 song by sealah sue (hate her Artist name tough she's simply Sanne Putseys from Leuven, she should have used her real name)

I also liked that 1 song by Götye and Kimbra

Personally I'm from another generation and dislike most of todays music anyway because I'm old and dull but I liked a lot of the Belgian music in my time like

    Belgian asociality:

    K's choice

    Hooverphonic

    Channel zero

    Deus

    Soulwax

EDIT: I liked this guy's song too, it was a huge hit wasn't it?:
[vido won't work just search Stromae alors on dance

and here's another great Belgian hiphop group:

Belgium is, today, one of Europe's good music powerhouses. At a certain time half of the song I listened the most during a whole week were Belgian.

A band I just came across recently, from Belgium, is Ghinzu.

Heard it on a Portuguese Peugeot commercial (so I don't know if that song is used outside here) and managed to track down the name of the band.

As to the band that introduced me to Belgian music, it was Arsenal. A great, great band. 1/4 of their songs are sung in Portuguese, so that's how I got to know them.

And one of their Portuguese/Brazilian songs.

Arsenal is just amazing! And indeed, you're crapping out awesome bands lately. In fact, I think I know fairly well some of Europe's music scenes, and when it comes to growth/quality Belgium, Portugal and France are producing incredible, incredible material. I opened a thread on Portuguese post-rock music once, but I think I'm going to open one for all general music
