Fall of the Samurai broke my NTW installation?

I recently bought Fall of the Samurai and played it a bit, updated it. Then I heard in another thread that all of Sweden's diplomatic lines were Abba song lyrics. I checked Empire Total War, it worked, none of the lines were Abba lyrics, then I checked Napoleon Total War, and it crashed when I loaded saves or started new games.


I thought it was the Darth Mod Napoleon, so I uninstalled that. Still crash. I verified the files. Steam said 2 files were corrupt and being replaced. Game still crashed. Verified again. Steam said 2 files were corrupt and being replaced. Game still crashed.


So I guess Steam ISN'T replacing the broken files? What do I do here?

ISN'T IT LOVELY to have my game in full working condition, only to have the Psy-Corps at Steam somehow manage to BREAK it in the process of installing a COMPLETELY DIFFERENT GAME for the purpose of... what? Streamlining stuff so I can access every game from the same place? I already have something like that, it's called a ING DESKTOP

Did you delet BOTH Nalpoeon folders? There are mod files in both.

I restarted my computer and now all the games work again. Bashtards.
