Nemesis Clan

Right, so I haven't played enough FOTS to have a nemesis just yet, but in S2 it's the Mori, the bloody Mori!

In campaign after campaign those fellows always seem to emerge as a hated rival, particularly in my campaigns as the Uesugi, Ikko Ikki, and Shimazu. I even find myself willing to make campaign threatening moves just to thwart them.

I can't even bring myself to play as them because I've come to hate them so much.

So, my question is, which clan is your nemesis, the never ending thorn in your side. the clan you take the most delight in destroying or seeing destroyed?

Hattori for me. And when it isn't the Hattori it seems to be the Takeda. Mori would come in third for.me just in case you'd lime to know Haha

Takeda is a close second for me, but strangely, I don't harbor the same visceral hatred for them that I do for the Mori.

They are dominating the Shinano right now with his allies like the Naoe and Uesugi AND UJIEE blocking me from ever threatening them directly.

Date. They are ALWAYS the last clan standing and they always put up a heck of a fight.

The Ikko. I help them expand and then when they have 10-15 provinces I go to war with them. Fun trying to take their land once it is converted to Ikko religeon, and the volume of warrior monks makes for a nice change of pace. For my bowmen.

I don't help them expand, but they always seem to steamroll the center of Japan and become a superpower.

If not them, then the Mori. I once saw them control the entire coast where they start, and Kyushu, AND Shikoku.

If I wasn't Christian, I'd never have been able to take them down.

(I had three 10 star Missionaries by the time I was finished with them. And the Ikko, who were the dominant clan in the center of Japan, again.)

Takeda. Takeda Takeda Shingen freaking Takeda.

I dont care if I have the honor to spare. I will loot every single one of his cities, and burn every single improvement to the ground. I will spend years camping his final city, assassinating Daimyo until the Daimyo is no longer a "Takeda"

Then when I'm done, I'll let Kai rebel just so I can take it and burn it again.

FotS I have a moderate dislike for the Obama clan.

In S2 Takeda and Ikko Ikki. I once beat the Ikko's down from 7 provinces to 2. I left them alone for a while and they got up to 9 provinces despite being at war with everyone around them.

In FotS probably Obama.
