I cant be the only one here who like that series.
But only from sertain artists/whriters of course.

My favorite whriter/artist is Don Rosa and Carl Barks.
Their histories was what got me into history and they are alomst the only stories i read now.

And my favorite carracter is of course Scrooge McDuck

I always felt sorry for Donald. It always seemed like he got the shorter end of the stick.

    DON ROSA AS EMPEROR!

No but seriously, he is the most talented painter I've ever seen, with the exception Tokus*Maximus. I love Donald Duck in general too, but lately it have became a bit lame

Don Rosa truly is a great duck artist, and puts down a lot of effort in research and stuff.

I also like that he sets his comics in the fifties. According to the world of Donald Duck, Scrooge McDuck was born sometime in the 1870's, so obviously he couldn't be alive today. Rosa did this picture which even shows his tombstone!

As far as I remember, 1967 was the year when Carl Barks retired, and I assume that's why Don choose that year as the last of Scrooge's life.

Uncle dolan has truly made donald duck better imo.
You have a certain mentality, a "you vs them" and i know it is hard to see, but it is only your imagination which makes up enemies everywhere. I haven't professed anything but being neutral so why Do you feel the need to defend yourself from me?. Truly What are you defending? when there is nobody attacking?

The Don Rosa comics are actually pretty great, particularly the "Life of Scrooge McDuck" series. The Carl Barks ones are okay too. The rest is mostly crap not meant for anyone over the age of 12 however.

Oh well, there are some decent ones expect those....Marco Rota is great, and he's an airplane fanatic, so lots of nice old crates in his comics! I remember one that was centered around a DC-3, just my cuppa tea!

But Don Rosa has always been the favorite, not only because his stories are great, but because they're funny. He puts alot of humor in them, particularly in the backgrounds!

I think this page illustrates pretty well some typical Don Rosa stuff:

If you compare Disney to the crap kids get to see nowadays, then yes, I think it's special.
