"What I have learned from _____"

So we have all watched TV shows and movies, and we have all seen things that make us "learn something" from a particular movie or show. So, esteemed members of TWC, what have you "learned" from something you have watched, recently or in the past. Put what movie or TV show you are referencing.


I'll start


When conducting a police investigation, it is almost always necessary to visit a strip club. (Pretty much any crime show/movie).

Most police departments and especially the CSI teams have the funding of NASA, except for Baltimore for some reason.

I can hardly watch CSI nowadays since it's do damn cringeworthy that they can analyze a fingerprint in 5 seconds, zoom in to someone's face on a picture taken from the moon and that every other episode the CSI agents pull their guns and shoot someone. It's quite hard to go back to watching series like that when you have seen The Wire.

What I learned from Bear Grylls is it's all well and good living off the land when the cameras are rolling but when they are not lets pack up and hit the local motel.

And that Bruce Parry is a god among men.

Very few of those, nowadays.

I wish Sean Bean would get more work. Practically every role I have seen him in were amazing because of him. He deserves some recognition, as well...
