Most Hunnic Faction?

For my first campaign, I want to play a faction that's most like the Huns, because I want to use lots of horse archers >.<
So my question is... which faction is most like the Huns, without being so hard for someone who hasn't yet played the campaign, since I heard the Byzantines are pretty hard?

Byzantines have horse archers but that are not remotely Hunnic. Your best bet will be the Cumans, Russians, Maybe Poland, and Hungary. The Turks are good with horse archers too.

I don't think you can choose the Turks for your first campaign (only if you unlock them in the game files). You must beat one before...

And choosing them for starting M2TW would be tough, by turn 50 you would have the Golden Horde knocking on your gates.

I agree the Turks have the extremely useful ottoman infantry and have a good selection of horse archers not to mention their spearmen and jannisaries. They are a really fun faction to play anyways. (In my opinion of course)

I think its only fair to mention that for someone playing their first campaign that the Turks are odds-on to get a screaming horde of Mongols charging at them at a relatively early stage.

I'd say Byzantines. In Medieval 2, the Byzantines have excellent good horse archers, really good foot archers, average heavy cavalry, and below average infantry. This representation isn't accurate to history, but because of how they are represented in the game, they are just like the huns.
