At least America isn't France/ Greece/ Spain/ Italy or what have you.
I've always advocated selling a few nukes to Tehran and Pyongyang; they seem to want them and the US could do with the cash.
My first thought would be that perhaps an article or another source would be nice.
inb4 lock due to lack of source.
they can just print more money.

impossible to pay off on growth seeing where much of the growth stems from...and printing is nice seeing how they can still export inflation and got the Euro out the way, but there is limits to that before it really starts showing domestically.
new ways and debt rebates across are needed

Just like the elephant animation, this Carthage scenario is actually in the game, it just has a small percantage factor for showing up, that's all..."we're way way pre-alpha and what that means is there is loads of features not just in terms of the graphics but also in terms of the combat and animations that actually aren't in the game yet.So the final game is actually gonna look way way better than this!” - James Russell, CA

Yes, lock, blah...
The vast majority of the US' debt is domestically held. It isn't held by China or any other foreign country, as most people think.
There are significant issues with social services that account for most of the debt, but for the most part, our debt is still manageable even when factoring in those services. We just have to address the issues sometime in the near future. We will, but likely at the last minute.
If you are looking to worry, look to Europe.

Yeah, Europe the country.
Also. Problem is those holding the debt domestically do everything to be prevented from paying taxes. All signs point towards the austerity and increased productivity thingy, and yes, that will be a world to look forward to, just to serve the debt.
Im looking at Greece, but dont worry they also had the majority held in domestic hands.
Im sure even you could differentiate between the US and Greece.

Yes even I can. There is many parallels though, as with all heavily indebted countries. While all are indeed different. Tiny Greece though can be bailed out or kept on life support in hope for better days. No one can do that for USA after $ looses to much cred, except those pulling the strings in your country or the rats running the mill.
Its a big problem that should addressed right now.
