    Hi guys, forgive me for my lack of history knowledge but where is the Julii family in this mod?

    They aren't - although they could appear in theory. As an aside I don't believe I have any Julii characters at present, but assume it could appear. I do currently have 'Pontius Pilot' guy......

    In vanilla RTW there are the 4 Roman factions, the 3 'families' (considered the most prominent, with slightly different characteristics) and the 'Senate'. RSII only has a single Roman faction (the starting 'lead' family is 'Maximus'), the other 3 'slots' are used for other factions (renamed).

    As others have said, there is none. All the Roman factions are combined, even including the Senate. Which is nice cause I hated starting without Rome in vanilla.

    I see that but I was wondering since they have Scipio, why not Julii is all. Thanks guys

    The Julii were not all that important until Caesar. They were patricians but were generally poor or just moderately wealthy and not incredibly powerful.

    This is a complete makeover from vanilla, by creating a single Roman faction it frees up more slots, never mind the added historical nature of not using separate families.
