Default Planning on buying Samsung SSD: How to set-up caching?

    Hey guys.

I'm planning on buying the Samsung SSD 128gb desktop kit. I'm planning on using Samsung's software to 'clone' my hdd to the ssd before installing it, does anyone have experience with that?

The real reason I opened this thread was because of caching. I bought a z68 board mainly because it had pci-e 3.0 but I also found this caching feature neat. If I understand it correctly, it makes my harddrive 'faster'?

Now for my big question: how do I setup this caching method?

    Thanks again guys,

    ~Zero

caching is great but only works on up to 60gb meaning you end up with 60gb partition for caching the HDD and then a seperate 60gb for w.e you want,

cloning the OS over works fine done it many times acronis and the other tools like it are pretty easy to setup and use, i would honestly suggest moving the OS over to the SSD and just wipe the HDD after that and use it for programs and apps etc.

I was planning on only keeping my os and fav programs on the ssd, rest on hdd. So is the cache thing even worth it?

cache thing essentially works this way

Install OS on 1TB HDD for instance
use 60gb SSD for caching apps on the 1TB that get used alot get cached to the SSD for faster read speeds, thats about it. It is faster its also a bit easier to work with compared to SSD for OS + HDD for Apps setup but where you have a 128GB SSD just go OS and key apps on SSD and put steam etc on the HDD call it a day,
