How does one change the name of a faction and change the flag?

Good morning. I am having a spot of bother. I have all the necessary programmes however to be frank I am not quite sure what to do and all the tutorials I have read do not really help me. My aim is to change the faction of Great Britain's name to 'England', replace their flag with that of the Virginia Colonists when they become a republic and finally to edit the amount of turns it takes before there is an election so that I can have the same government almost indefinitely. I would much appreciate if someone where to help me.

In tools/tutorials/resources forum here are all these tutorials, to edit king/family names (and then you will know how to rename faction), there is also tutorial how to change flags and i believe there is also tutorial how to change government type.
