If you own the retail version of Win, installing the 64bit version will help.

Post the gfx.log.txt if it generated one.

I did everything above except installing the 64bit version. I don't get crashes anymore but the game freezes at the battle load screen.

Have you opened Event Monitor and check the logs?

Do you have Chrome installed?

No chrome installed. I restarted the game and did get into one battle. Than crashed in the second battle. I'm going to try playing on my laptop and see. It has better stuff on it than this desktop

ok I installed 64-bit and used game booster, yet I crash at every end turn. new dxdiag and gfx attachedAttachment 216320

You may not have enough for two or more battles in a row.
Graphics downgrades are not bad for your card.
Did you install all the motherboard drivers for Win7 64bit?
Did you run Windows Update manualy and install all software options?

Its working now. I deleted the pref and scripts in the roaming folders. works perfectly. 2 battles so far and no crash
