cats and conquerors
introducing the stupidest topic ever.. i like my history, but i also like my cats.
i keep thinking how cool it would be to have a bunch of cats named after great conquerors. i mean, they're haughty, willful and majestic. so fitting. so then i started matching them to colours.
alexander the great - black
napoleon - black and white
gaius julius caesar - ginger
joan of arc? - white
genghis khan? - tabby
note these aren't really based on logic at all, just what i feel haha. though i think caesar stems from the idea that in my mind he had gold hair. cyrus the great?
similarly for just personalities from the roman republic..
marcus porcius cato the younger - black
marcus tullius cicero.. maybe - black and white
gaius julius caesar - ginger
lucius cornelius sulla - white
gaius marius (lolol) - tabby
some might argue that cato and sulla should be swapped around but i don't think so. also lucius licinius lucullus and pompey the great both seem worthy of mention..
just some idle thoughts, haha.
