    Default Unit Movement Indicators

Hi there. I've just come down from Shogun 2 to playing Medieval II and, boy, does it make a difference. Did not remember it being so much ... older

I can live with a lot of things, but something that bothers me a lot is the fact that in M2, on the battle map, your units won't tell you where they're moving after you've sent them. In Shogun 2 they display a yellow arrow and the formation that they're gonna take after moving, but not so in M2.

My question: Is there any way to turn on these indicators in M2? An option (I found none) or a mod?

Also, I don't like the violet-purple color of the formation boxes Is there any way to change that ? Maybe in the game files?

(PS: I didn't know whether to post this in the Discussion or Mod section. Please excuse this and move my post accordingly ...)

You can push the space bar and it will bring up the locations that your troops will reach when they have finished their current movement.

Thanks. I found out kind of a similar thing, when you press Shift to set waypoints it shows you some red dots where the units are going.

Or press the Shift key to get a red marker showing where they will go
